Hello!

At the present time, September 2019, I am in the latter stages of proofreading a book for the New England Science Fiction Association in Massachusetts. I cannot reveal the title right now, but it will be available for purchase early next year. I can tell you that it is a big book, something like 400 pages, and, as of right now, I have proofread all of it. My Claim to Fame is having proofread over 10,700 pages for Project Gutenberg (it is a way to turn old, public domain books into new, free e-books).

I am also a voracious reader, and have been a freelance book reviewer, with my own blog, for the past 22 years (search "Dead Trees Review"). I specialize, as much as possible, in small press and self-published books, to give them whatever tiny bit of publicity that I can. In those 22 years, I have read, and reviewed, over 1,300 books, including some that really needed a trip, or another trip, to a proofreader. Whether your document is a blog posting, a report for school or The Great American Novel, I will do my best to not let that happen to you.

Are you still skeptical? Write to me at plappen386@gmail.com. Give me a chance to prove to you that I am a legitimate proofreader.

Thank you for visiting.
